WINERY SOLAR CASE STUDY

Buller Wines have made the decision to install a Xirasol 100KW Dual  Axis Tracking System in-order to increase the length of time that solar power is produced. They maximized the output from the solar panels and reduced the large power costs associated with the cooling system and circulation pumps on-site.

 

The solar system on-site is expected to produce 228,311 kWh pa. (significantly more than 150,000kWh from a roof mounted system).

 

There was plenty of excess land with the solar system located 150m from the main sub-board. Grid protection equipment and iCloud monitoring was installed.
